    Deine Aufgaben

    Als Operations Manager bist du eine sehr wichtige Anlaufstelle für die Kapazitätsplanung unserer Designer:innen. Durch deine enge Abstimmung und deinen Überblick erkennst du Über- oder Unterlast frühzeitig, findest individuell passende Lösungen und trägst damit ganz wesentlich zu einer hohen Motivation in den Teams bei.

    In Zusammenarbeit mit Projektleiter:innen und Kunden und Kundinnen verantwortest du die komplette kaufmännische Projektabwicklung. Du bist verantwortlich für das kaufmännische Projekt-Controlling, stellst die termingerechte Leistungsverrechnung sicher und erstellst die relevanten Reports. Dabei behältst du Kosten und Ressourcen im Blick, weist auf potenzielle Risiken hin und möchtest gemeinsam mit den Teams die Projekte erfolgreich voranbringen.

    Du siehst dich als „Unterstützer:in“ der Projektteams in allen kaufmännischen und administrativen Themen und schaffst damit Freiraum für die Fokussierung auf das Design.

    Deine Expertise

    • Ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes wirtschaftswissenschaftliches Studium und/oder einschlägige Berufserfahrung
    • Idealerweise erste Erfahrung im Projektmanagement, bevorzugt in einem kreativen Umfeld
    • Ein solides kaufmännisches Grundverständnis, einschließlich erster Erfahrung in der Angebotserstellung, der Erstellung von Projektverträgen sowie der Rechnungsstellung
    • Eine schnelle Auffassungsgabe für komplexe Sachverhalte sowie ein gut strukturiertes, analytisches Denkvermögen
    • Ein hohes Maß an Empathie sowie die Fähigkeit gewinnend inner- und außerhalb des Teams zu kommunizieren

    Your tasks

    • As Senior UX/UI Designer you are responsible for the design of the whole user experience, whether it is integrated in products, apps or the web, within different branches

    ROLE SUMMARY

     

    At PHOENIX, Design strategists are insights-driven creators of original thought, expert innovation practitioners and scholars of design-culture. As such you will be working at the intersection of our clients and our creative teams.

    Your key tasks will be to develop and articulate the creative vision and point of views that give voice to pitches, proposals, projects and public performances, and to consult internal and external clients on matters of brand-, design- and innovation-culture and -strategy.

    In your engagements you will leverage your diverse set of experiences to conceive new ideas, and entice decision makers with insights and stories that smoothly blend academic theory, business knowledge and critical attitude.

    As a business-savvy creative consultant you are adept at managing and navigating uncertainty and complexity, and confident in taking on different roles with vastly different tasks, at different stages of each endeavour.

    Internally you will mentor, lead, direct and collaborate with our creative teams to generate business, provide new perspectives, set new standards in method and knowledge, and create strategies, experiences, products and services that produce value for our clients.

    Externally you will be engaging company owners, C-level decision makers, project owners, but also the design-community, and deliver brilliant perspectives that will establish Phoenix Design as a thought leader for Wellbeing.

    Experience and Capabilities

    • 5+ years of total work-experience in design-, innovation-, strategy- and/or branding-related fields, such as design- and innovation-consultancy, brand- and advertising agency, management consultancy
    • Masters degree in either a design- or strategy-related field and/or social sciences, anthropology or cultural studies
    • Solid track record in leading, evaluating and directing both, industrial- and digital design- and innovation work
    • Solid track record in qualitative research and academic comprehension on how culture, research, strategy and design are related to each other
    • Strong business instinct and experiences, method-set and general understanding of how design- and innovation create value for brands- and businesses
    • Excellent project-framing skills: from identifying tacit business objectives, articulating project visions/pictures of success to defining approaches, deliverables and team-profiles for internal teams and clients.
    • Authentic storytelling-, presentation- and communication-skills in English and German

    As Senior Industrial Designer you will be a part of an interdisciplinary team with the ability to work on a multitude of topics as well as diverse project lead roles.

    Senior Designers are experts in setting up and leading challenging projects, and therefor require substantial experience in servicing clients - with all the activities that are part of it: from proposal writing, to planning research, running workshops and ideation sessions and managing/motivating a project team.

    • 5+ years of industry work experience as an industrial designer. 
    • You have proven your ability to combine your deep understanding of people, brands, interdisciplinary design and business innovation with a confident application of tools and methods in order to develop new approaches and mental models.
    • You have repeatedly designed, planed and articulated complex and challenging projects, as well as motivated and coordinate yourself within interdisciplinary project teams with minimal supervision.
    • You have natural presence and authority – both, internally and externally as project lead, and can consult clients on an eyelevel. 
    • You empathize with your end users and create solutions through understanding human needs and motivations as well as business requirements. 
    • You are perceived as consistently confident, courageous, self-driven and emotionally robust yet very self-critical and patient.

    Your tasks

    • As Senior Product Designer, you will be tasked with creating innovative product- and service-experiences across a broad range of industries and to push the boundaries in creating positive impacts on both new and traditional life-product categories

    • Continuously keeping up to date with the latest and greatest of app, mini program, and H5 trends, as well as design tools and consumer technology trends

    • Very good verbal and written communication skills in English
    • Chinese and/or German skills would be beneficial
